Armor
Here is a list of the armor in the players handbook. how
much gold it costs and the armor bonus it gives you
LIGHT ARMOR
Padded 5gp +1
Leather 10gp +2
Studded leather 25gp +3
Chainshirt 100gp +4
MEDIUM ARMOR
Hide 15gp +3
Scale mail 50gp +4
Chainmail 150gp +5
Breastplate200gp +5
HEAVY ARMOR
Splintmail 200gp +6
Banded mail 250gp +6
Halfplate 600gp +7
Fullplate 1,500gp +8
SHIELDS
Buckler 15gp +1
Small wood shield 3gp +1
Small steel shield 9gp +1
Large wood shield 7gp +2
Large steel shield 20gp +2
Tower shield 30gp
the tower shield is so large that you cannot hold a weapon and the shield
at the same time. The shield does not have an armor bonus because it is
so large that it gives you cover from attacks rather that a bonus on armor.
